Elyse's Wedding

SEPTEMBER CAME AND WENT...
We celebrated MIKE'S birthday on Labor Day this year. I guess he is old enough to be a dad now! Also last month I had a wedding for one of my best friends ELYSE. Everything turned out super nice. Tarin, Elyse and I have have been friends since we were babies. It was a lot of fun to catch-up. These are some pictures from the wedding.

HOLLIE BERRY IT IS!!!

YES thats right we are expecting a GIRL! We are so EXCITED!!! We had the ultra sound tech check twice just to be sure that we wouldnt be surprised with a boy, but it is definitely a girl!

We had our ultra sound done over a week ago but our lives have been so crazy lately. MIKE got really sick a few weeks back and it turned out that he had to have an emergency appendectomy done. He has been really sick since the surgery, running feavers and such. He was back in the ER this week to see if he had infection or something else going on. The doctor told us everything looked ok but that it will take time to recover completely. We are hoping the worst is over now.

I picked up a new job this summer as a Nutrition Assistant working 12 hour shifts along with my other job. It usually ends up being about 56 hours a week, which is very exhausting being pregnant. It doesn't leave much time to play or do anything fun. We both feel like summer has just passed us by this year, kind of sad. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy the last part of the summer.
We did celebrate our 4 year anniversary on August 13. Last year we were at the beach for our anniversary this year I worked all day and Mike was sick... LAME!!!

Hollie Berry or Chet Snuts Hadley

We are expecting a Christmas gift this year and it isn't a fruit cake. We are now 13 weeks along and we have been thinking really hard about NAMES for our new family member. For GIRL names we are thinking. . . Hollie Berry, Merri Joe, Joy Noelle, Norath Star, Angel Hark, Carol Ing, Wynter Storm, or Silver Belle Hadley. For BOYS we are thinking. . . Jack Frost, Timothy Little, Ebenezer Scrooge, Tannon Baum, Juniper Tree, Nicholas Claus, Rude Olf, or Chet Snuts Hadley.

Weekend Trip to LA

These are a few pictures from our fun weekend trip to LA with Sean and Hailey. We had such a good time. We went to Hollywood to see some STARS!!! (Well the ones that are on the sidewalk) While we were in Hollywood we did a tour of Kodak theater it was pretty interesting then... we went to a Dodgers/Giants game that night where we became victims of a scam. This guy got us into the game and sat us in some pretty good seats that weren't even ours. Lucky for us no one came to sit in our seat. It was funny and it all worked out fine but ... if you go to a Dodger's game anytime soon look out for the guy in the blue hat with a white shirt, sunglasses, and a fake badge around his neck. He is out to get you! After the game they did fireworks and let everyone down on the field it was a lot of fun!

Saturday was beach day it was a good time except for the fact that we all got EXTREMELY BURNT on the front side of our bodies. (not the back just the front) It was on and off sunny/cloudy so we didn't really think to put sunscreen on. We sat on the beach, ate lunch, and rented beach cruisers and rode from Santa Monica to Venice Beach to enjoy some people watching and check out the beach vendors. That night we went to Marina Del Ray for dinner at Sapori. YUM!

We can't wait to go back!!!

MARCH

MARCH MADNESS
Well let me catch ya'll up. First of all I did win with my MARCH MADNESS brackets this year and I am still awaiting my big prize. March flew by, I don't remember most of it. I think we were... WORKING most of it. We did do a few exciting things this month so I posted a few pictures below.

We took a trip to HOOVER DAM this month to see the new BRIDGE. Mike was sure he had been there before but it turns out he never has. We were too cheap for the dam tour, so we just walked around and took some dam pictures and watched some dam tourists, which was quite amusing. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Mike and his friends planned a GUYS trip to Arizona to catch a spring training baseball game and play a few rounds of golf. Sounds fun right? Well I asked Mike to take some pictures while they were there and this is what I got. hmm ... nice I know!

RED ROCK CANYON

Last weekend we went hiking at Red Rock Canyon. It was fun to EXPLORE a new place. It was a SUPER nice day to be outside. There was so much water on this hike. Our camera has been broken but it turned back on for a day so we were lucky to get a couple photos.

We have definitely been enjoying the warmer weather. IT FEELS LIKE SPRING!!!

Happy Holiday's

We had such a great Christmas this year but I am always sad when the Holiday's are over. I hate taking down the Christmas tree, and it was hard this year to say bye to our families.

It seems like it has been a long rough year but we are both looking forward to "2009". Hope everyone had a great Holiday!
